Workshops, Retreats, and Spiritual Direction
I am recently retired from many years of practice as a pastoral psychotherapist serving Asheville, Black Mountain, and the wider Swannanoa Valley area of Western North Carolina. My services now are limited to spiritual direction (spiritual listening) and the occasional workshop or retreat. I am especially interested in the intersection of theology, depth psychology, spirituality, and nonviolence. I draw on a wide range of perspectives including the teachings of C.G. Jung, Internal Family Systems theory, and the transformational practices developed by Gandhi, Martin Luther King, Jr., Gene Sharp and many others. I invite you to look over this website and if you want to contact me to talk about spiritual direction or to make an appointment, call me at 828-776-0015.
Thanks and blessings on the journey.

My book Praying in the Dark: Spirituality, Nonviolence, and the Emerging World is now available at Malaprops, other local, independent bookstores and online retailers.
